Turn group chat notifications on or off on Workplace Chat

If you’re in a group chat on Workplace Chat, you can turn notifications on or off for messages and message reactions.
To turn group chat notifications on or off using Workplace in a desktop browser:
  1. From Chats Chats, hover over the chat you want to mute or unmute.
  2. Click the 3 horizontal dots More on the right.
  3. Click Mute chat Mute chat or Unmute chat Unmute chat.
  4. If you select Mute chat Mute chat, select how long you want to mute the chat for.
To turn group chat notifications on or off using the Workplace Chat desktop app:
  1. Right-click the chat you want to mute or unmute.
  2. Click Mute notifications Mute notifications or Unmute notifications Unmute notifications.
  3. If you select Mute notifications Mute notifications, select how long you want to mute the chat for and then click Confirm.
